8/13/2005 ANGLETON, TEXAS - MikeyWear's participation in the Texas Department of Transportation's "Adopt A Highway" program continued today with the second quarterly litter pickup of the area on Hwy 35 that MikeyWear has adopted, between reference markers 508 & 510 (off Spur 28 near Danbury). Fourteen bags of litter, as well as a truck wheel and other debris that was too large to place in the bags, was picked up by Mikey, his stepsons Noel and Jason, and his friends Robert and Robert. Also included in the photo are Mikey's wife Debbie and their Grandson's Caleb and Seth.
Note: The MikeyWear Crew has had more trash pickups on the weekends of October 22-23, 2005 and January 14-15, 2006, and during the Great Texas Trash-Off in April. Next trash pickup will be in the month of July.
